Context
Online store built with React and Vite covering the full shopping journey: catalog, cart and checkout, with its own back end in progress.
What I did
- Built a complete e-commerce app with React and Vite, implementing the checkout flow, shopping cart and page navigation.
- Consumed Platzi’s free API through async functions to populate the product catalog.
- Implemented user authentication with data persistence using localStorage on the front end.
- Built the back end with Node.js, Express and Sequelize as ORM, connected to a PostgreSQL database on Neon — currently being integrated with the front end.
- Applied responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile.
